Human TIMM44 qPCR Primer Set – translocase of inner mitochondrial membrane 44
Also known as: TIM44
About this gene: TIMM44 encodes a peripheral membrane protein linked to the mitochondrial inner membrane translocase, which functions in the import of proteins across the mitochondrial inner membrane and into the mitochondrial matrix. The TIMM44 protein mediates binding of mitochondrial heat shock protein 70 to the translocase of inner mitochondrial membrane 23 complex. Expression of TIMM44 is upregulated in kidney in a mouse model of diabetes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10469; HGNC ID: HGNC:17316; UniProt: O43615; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006351.4; Chromosome location: 19p13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
