About this gene: The product encoded by TIA1 belongs to a RNA-binding protein family and possesses nucleolytic activity against cytotoxic lymphocyte target cells. The TIA1 gene product has been suggested that this protein may be involved in the induction of apoptosis as it preferentially recognizes poly homopolymers and induces DNA fragmentation in CTL targets. The major granule-associated species is a 15-kDa protein that is believed to be derived from the carboxyl terminus of the 40-kDa product by proteolytic processing.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
