SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human THRA (thyroid hormone receptor alpha, also called c-erbA-alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human THRA qPCR Primer Set – thyroid hormone receptor alpha
Also known as: AR7, CHNG6, EAR7, ERB-T-1, ERBA, ERBA1, NR1A1, THRA1, THRA2, THRalpha, THRalpha1, THRalpha2
About this gene: The THRA protein is a nuclear hormone receptor for triiodothyronine. The THRA gene product is one of the multiple receptors for thyroid hormone, and is reported to mediate the biological activities of thyroid hormone. Knockout studies in mice suggest that the different receptors, while having certain extent of redundancy, may mediate different functions of thyroid hormone.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7067; HGNC ID: HGNC:11796; UniProt: P10827; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_199334.5; Chromosome location: 17q21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
