About this gene: Megakaryocytopoiesis is the cellular development process that leads to platelet production. The main functional protein encoded by THPO is a humoral growth factor that is necessary for megakaryocyte proliferation and maturation, as well as for thrombopoiesis. The THPO protein is the ligand for MLP/C_MPL, the product of myeloproliferative leukemia virus oncogene.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
