SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ACOT11 (acyl-CoA thioesterase 11, also called BFIT) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ACOT11 qPCR Primer Set – acyl-CoA thioesterase 11
Also known as: BFIT, STARD14, THEA, THEM1
About this gene: Higher levels of expression of the mouse homolog has been found in obesity-resistant mice compared with obesity-prone mice, suggesting a role of acyl-CoA thioesterase 11 in obesity.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 26027; HGNC ID: HGNC:18156; UniProt: Q8WXI4; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_147161.4; Chromosome location: 1p32.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
