SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TGM5 (transglutaminase 5, also called TGX) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TGM5 qPCR Primer Set – transglutaminase 5
Also known as: PSS2, TG(X), TGASE5, TGASEX, TGMX, TGX
About this gene: TGM5 belongs to the transglutaminase family. The TGM5 protein catalyzes formation of protein cross-links between glutamine and lysine residues, often resulting in stabilization of protein assemblies. This reaction is calcium dependent.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9333; HGNC ID: HGNC:11781; UniProt: O43548; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_201631.4; Chromosome location: 15q15.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
