SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TGM2 (transglutaminase 2, also called tTG) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TGM2 qPCR Primer Set – transglutaminase 2
Also known as: G(h), TG(C), TGC, hTG2, tTG
About this gene: Transglutaminases are enzymes that catalyze the crosslinking of proteins by epsilon-gamma glutamyl lysine isopeptide bonds. While the primary structure of transglutaminases is not conserved, they all have the same amino acid sequence at their active sites and their activity is calcium-dependent. The TGM2 protein acts as a monomer, is induced by retinoic acid, and appears to be involved in apoptosis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7052; HGNC ID: HGNC:11778; UniProt: P21980; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004613.4; Chromosome location: 20q11.23
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
