SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TGIF2 (TGFB induced factor homeobox 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TGIF2 qPCR Primer Set – TGFB induced factor homeobox 2
About this gene: The TGIF2 protein is a DNA-binding homeobox protein and a transcriptional repressor, which appears to repress transcription by recruiting histone deacetylases to TGF beta-responsive genes. TGIF2 is amplified and over-expressed in some ovarian cancers. Read-through transcription also exists between TGIF2 and the neighboring downstream C20orf24 gene.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 60436; HGNC ID: HGNC:15764; UniProt: Q9GZN2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_021809.7; Chromosome location: 20q11.23
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
