SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TGFBR2 (transforming growth factor beta receptor 2, also called TbetaR-II) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TGFBR2 qPCR Primer Set – transforming growth factor beta receptor 2
Also known as: AAT3, FAA3, LDS1B, LDS2, LDS2B, MFS2, RIIC, TAAD2, TBR-ii, TBRII, TGFR-2, TGFbeta-RII
About this gene: The TGFBR2 protein is a transmembrane protein that has a protein kinase domain, forms a heterodimeric complex with TGF-beta receptor type-1, and binds TGF-beta. This receptor/ligand complex phosphorylates proteins, which then enter the nucleus and regulate the transcription of genes related to cell proliferation, cell cycle arrest, wound healing, immunosuppression, and tumorigenesis. Mutations in TGFBR2 have been linked to Marfan Syndrome, Loeys-Deitz Aortic Aneurysm Syndrome, and the development of various types of tumors.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7048; HGNC ID: HGNC:11773; UniProt: P37173; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003242.6; Chromosome location: 3p24.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
