SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TGFBR1 (transforming growth factor beta receptor 1, also called ALK5) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TGFBR1 qPCR Primer Set – transforming growth factor beta receptor 1
Also known as: AAT5, ACVRLK4, ALK-5, ALK5, ESS1, LDS1, LDS1A, LDS2A, MSSE, SKR4, TBR-i, TBRI
About this gene: The TGFBR1 protein forms a heteromeric complex with type II TGF-beta receptors when bound to TGF-beta, transducing the TGF-beta signal from the cell surface to the cytoplasm. The TGFBR1 protein is a serine/threonine protein kinase. Mutations in TGFBR1 have been linked to Loeys-Dietz aortic aneurysm syndrome.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7046; HGNC ID: HGNC:11772; UniProt: P36897; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004612.4; Chromosome location: 9q22.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
