SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TGFB1 (transforming growth factor beta 1, also called TGF-beta1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TGFB1 qPCR Primer Set – transforming growth factor beta 1
Also known as: CAEND1, CED, DPD1, IBDIMDE, LAP, TGF-beta1, TGFB, TGFbeta
About this gene: TGFB1 encodes a secreted ligand of the TGF-beta superfamily of proteins. Ligands of this family bind various TGF-beta receptors leading to recruitment and activation of SMAD family transcription factors that regulate gene expression. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate a latency-associated peptide and a mature peptide, and is found in either a latent form composed of a mature peptide homodimer, a LAP homodimer, and a latent TGF-beta binding protein.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7040; HGNC ID: HGNC:11766; UniProt: P01137; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000660.7; Chromosome location: 19q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
