SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TGFA (transforming growth factor alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TGFA qPCR Primer Set – transforming growth factor alpha
Also known as: TFGA
About this gene: TGFA encodes a growth factor that is a ligand for the epidermal growth factor receptor, which activates a signaling pathway for cell proliferation, differentiation and development. The TGFA protein may act as either a transmembrane-bound ligand or a soluble ligand. TGFA has been linked to many types of cancers, and it may also be involved in some cases of cleft lip/palate.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7039; HGNC ID: HGNC:11765; UniProt: P01135; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003236.4; Chromosome location: 2p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
