Human TFIP11 qPCR Primer Set – tuftelin interacting protein 11

Also known as: NTR1, STIP, STIP-1, Spp382, TIP39, bK445C9.6

About this gene: TFIP11 encodes a protein component of the spliceosome that promotes the release of the lariat-intron during late-stage splicing through the recruitment of a pre-mRNA splicing factor called DEAH-box helicase 15. The TFIP11 protein contains a G-patch domain, a hallmark of RNA-processing proteins, that binds DEAH-box helicase 15. The TFIP11 protein contains an atypical nuclear localization sequence as well as a nuclear speckle-targeting sequence, enabling it to localize to distinct speckled regions within the cell nucleus.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 24144; HGNC ID: HGNC:17165; UniProt: Q9UBB9; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012143.4; Chromosome location: 22q12.1

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
