SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TFAP2C (transcription factor AP-2 gamma, also called AP2-gamma) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TFAP2C qPCR Primer Set – transcription factor AP-2 gamma
Also known as: AP2-GAMMA, ERF1, TFAP2G, hAP-2g
About this gene: The TFAP2C protein is a sequence-specific DNA-binding transcription factor involved in the activation of multiple developmental genes. The TFAP2C protein can act as either a homodimer or heterodimer with other family members and is induced during retinoic acid-mediated differentiation. The TFAP2C gene product is involved in the development of the eyes, face, body wall, limbs, and neural tube.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7022; HGNC ID: HGNC:11744; UniProt: Q92754; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003222.4; Chromosome location: 20q13.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
