Human TEX15 qPCR Primer Set – testis expressed 15, meiosis and synapsis associated
Also known as: CT42, SPGF25
About this gene: TEX15 encodes a protein that is required for DNA double-strand break repair, chromosome synapsis, and meiotic recombination in spermatocytes. Male mice with a knockout of the orthologous gene are viable but sterile. Loss-of-function mutations in the orthologous mouse gene cause early meiotic arrest in spermatocytes, before the mid-pachytene stage.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 56154; HGNC ID: HGNC:11738; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001350162.2; Chromosome location: 8p12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
