About this gene: TERF2 encodes a telomere specific protein, TERF2, which is a component of the telomere nucleoprotein complex. The TERF2 protein is present at telomeres in metaphase of the cell cycle, is a second negative regulator of telomere length and is central to the protective activity of telomeres. While having similar telomere binding activity and domain organization, TERF2 differs from TERF1 in that its N terminus is basic rather than acidic.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
