SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TECTA (tectorin alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TECTA qPCR Primer Set – tectorin alpha
Also known as: DFNA12, DFNA8, DFNB21
About this gene: The tectorial membrane is an extracellular matrix of the inner ear that contacts the stereocilia bundles of specialized sensory hair cells. Sound induces movement of these hair cells relative to the tectorial membrane, deflects the stereocilia, and leads to fluctuations in hair-cell membrane potential, transducing sound into electrical signals. Alpha-tectorin is one of the major noncollagenous components of the tectorial membrane.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7007; HGNC ID: HGNC:11720; UniProt: O75443; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005422.4; Chromosome location: 11q23.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
