SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TCN2 (transcobalamin 2, also called TCII) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TCN2 qPCR Primer Set – transcobalamin 2
Also known as: D22S676, D22S750, II, TC, TC II, TC-2, TC2, TCII
About this gene: TCN2 belongs to the vitamin B12-binding protein family. This plasma protein binds cobalamin and mediates the transport of cobalamin into cells. The TCN2 protein and other mammalian cobalamin-binding proteins, such as transcobalamin I and gastric intrisic factor, may have evolved by duplication of a common ancestral gene.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6948; HGNC ID: HGNC:11653; UniProt: P20062; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000355.4; Chromosome location: 22q12.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
