SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ELOB (elongin B) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ELOB qPCR Primer Set – elongin B
Also known as: SIII, TCEB2
About this gene: ELOB encodes a protein elongin B, which is a subunit of the transcription factor B complex. The SIII complex is composed of elongins A/A2, B and C. It activates elongation by RNA polymerase II by suppressing transient pausing of the polymerase at many sites within transcription units. Elongin A acts as the transcriptionally active component of the SIII complex, whereas elongins B and C are regulatory subunits.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6923; HGNC ID: HGNC:11619; UniProt: Q15370; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_007108.4; Chromosome location: 16p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
