SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human BCLAF1 (BCL2 associated transcription factor 1, also called Btf) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human BCLAF1 qPCR Primer Set – BCL2 associated transcription factor 1
Also known as: BTF, bK211L9.1
About this gene: BCLAF1 encodes a transcriptional repressor that interacts with multiple members of the BCL2 family of proteins. Overexpression of this protein induces apoptosis, which can be suppressed by co-expression of BCL2 proteins. The protein localizes to dot-like structures throughout the nucleus, and redistributes to a zone near the nuclear envelope in cells undergoing apoptosis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9774; HGNC ID: HGNC:16863; UniProt: Q9NYF8; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014739.3; Chromosome location: 6q23.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
