SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TAS2R3 (taste 2 receptor member 3, also called T2R3) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TAS2R3 qPCR Primer Set – taste 2 receptor member 3
Also known as: T2R3
About this gene: TAS2R3 belongs to a family of candidate taste receptors that are members of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily and that are specifically expressed by taste receptor cells of the tongue and palate epithelia. These apparently intronless taste receptor genes encode a 7-transmembrane receptor protein, functioning as a bitter taste receptor. TAS2R3 is clustered with another 3 candidate taste receptor genes in chromosome 7 and is genetically linked to loci that influence bitter perception.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 50831; HGNC ID: HGNC:14910; UniProt: Q9NYW6; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_016943.2; Chromosome location: 7q34
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
