SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TAS2R16 (taste 2 receptor member 16, also called T2R16) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TAS2R16 qPCR Primer Set – taste 2 receptor member 16
Also known as: BGLPT, T2R16
About this gene: TAS2R16 belongs to a family of candidate taste receptors that are members of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. These family members are specifically expressed by taste receptor cells of the tongue and palate epithelia. Each of these apparently intronless genes encodes a 7-transmembrane receptor protein, functioning as a bitter taste receptor.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 50833; HGNC ID: HGNC:14921; UniProt: Q9NYV7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_016945.3; Chromosome location: 7q31.32|7q31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
