SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TAS2R1 (taste 2 receptor member 1, also called T2R1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TAS2R1 qPCR Primer Set – taste 2 receptor member 1
Also known as: T2R1, TRB7
About this gene: TAS2R1 belongs to a family of candidate taste receptors that are members of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily and that are specifically expressed by taste receptor cells of the tongue and palate epithelia. This intronless taste receptor gene encodes a 7-transmembrane receptor protein, functioning as a bitter taste receptor. TAS2R1 is mapped to chromosome 5p15, the location of a genetic locus that controls the detection of the bitter compound 6-n-propyl-2-thiouracil.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 50834; HGNC ID: HGNC:14909; UniProt: Q9NYW7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_019599.3; Chromosome location: 5p15.31-p15.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
