Human TAS1R1 qPCR Primer Set – taste 1 receptor member 1
Also known as: GM148, GPR70, T1R1, TR1
About this gene: The TAS1R1 protein is a G protein-coupled receptor and is a component of the heterodimeric amino acid taste receptor T1R1+3. The T1R1+3 receptor responds to L-amino acids but not to D-enantiomers or other compounds. Most amino acids that are perceived as sweet activate T1R1+3, and this activation is strictly dependent on an intact T1R1+3 heterodimer.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 80835; HGNC ID: HGNC:14448; UniProt: Q7RTX1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_138697.4; Chromosome location: 1p36.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
