SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TAF1 (TATA-box binding protein associated factor 1, also called p250) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TAF1 qPCR Primer Set – TATA-box binding protein associated factor 1
Also known as: BA2R, CCG1, CCGS, DYT3, DYT3/TAF1, KAT4, MRXS33, N-TAF1, NSCL2, OF, P250, TAF(II)250
About this gene: Initiation of transcription by RNA polymerase II requires the activities of more than 70 polypeptides. The protein that coordinates these activities is the basal transcription factor TFIID, which binds to the core promoter to position the polymerase properly, serves as the scaffold for assembly of the remainder of the transcription complex. TFIID is composed of the TATA-binding protein and a group of evolutionarily conserved proteins known as TBP-associated factors or TAFs.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6872; HGNC ID: HGNC:11535; UniProt: P21675; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004606.5; Chromosome location: Xq13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
