SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human EPCAM (epithelial cell adhesion molecule, also called KSA) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human EPCAM qPCR Primer Set – epithelial cell adhesion molecule
Also known as: TACSTD1, Ber-Ep4, BerEp4, DIAR5, EGP-2, EGP314, EGP40, ESA, HNPCC8, KS1/4, KSA, LYNCH8, M4S1
About this gene: EPCAM encodes a carcinoma-associated antigen and belongs to a family that includes at least two type I membrane proteins. This antigen is expressed on most normal epithelial cells and gastrointestinal carcinomas and acts as a homotypic calcium-independent cell adhesion molecule. The antigen is being used as a target for immunotherapy treatment of human carcinomas.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4072; HGNC ID: HGNC:11529; UniProt: P16422; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002354.3; Chromosome location: 2p21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
