SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TAC1 (tachykinin precursor 1, also called PPT) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TAC1 qPCR Primer Set – tachykinin precursor 1
Also known as: Hs.2563, NK2, NKNA, NPK, TAC2
About this gene: TAC1 encodes four products of the tachykinin peptide hormone family, substance P and neurokinin A, as well as the related peptides, neuropeptide K and neuropeptide gamma. These hormones are thought to function as neurotransmitters which interact with nerve receptors and smooth muscle cells. They are known to induce behavioral responses and function as vasodilators and secretagogues.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6863; HGNC ID: HGNC:11517; UniProt: P20366; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003182.3; Chromosome location: 7q21.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
