About this gene: The synaptonemal complex is a proteinaceous structure that links homologous chromosomes during the prophase of meiosis. The SYCP2 protein is a major component of the synaptonemal complex and may bind DNA at scaffold attachment regions. The SYCP2 protein requires synaptonemal complex protein 3, but not 1, for inclusion in the synaptonemal complex.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
