Human SV2B qPCR Primer Set – synaptic vesicle glycoprotein 2B
Also known as: HsT19680, SLC22B2
About this gene: SV2B belongs to the synaptic vesicle proteins 2 family and major facilitator superfamily of proteins. The SV2B protein and other members of the family are localized to synaptic vesicles and may function in the regulation of vesicle trafficking and exocytosis. Studies in mice suggest that the SV2B protein may act as a protein receptor for botulinum neurotoxin E in neurons, and that this protein may be important for the integrity of the glomerular filtration barrier.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9899; HGNC ID: HGNC:16874; UniProt: Q7L1I2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001323032.3; Chromosome location: 15q26.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
