SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SULT4A1 (sulfotransferase family 4A member 1, also called NST) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SULT4A1 qPCR Primer Set – sulfotransferase family 4A member 1
Also known as: BR-STL-1, BRSTL1, DJ388M5.3, NST, SULTX3, hBR-STL-1
About this gene: SULT4A1 belongs to the sulfotransferase family. The SULT4A1 protein is a brain-specific sulfotransferase believed to be involved in the metabolism of neurotransmitters. Polymorphisms in SULT4A1 may be linked to susceptibility to schizophrenia.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25830; HGNC ID: HGNC:14903; UniProt: Q9BR01; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014351.4; Chromosome location: 22q13.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
