SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human STX16 (syntaxin 16, also called Syn16) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human STX16 qPCR Primer Set – syntaxin 16
Also known as: SYN-16, SYN16
About this gene: STX16 encodes a protein that belongs to the syntaxin or t-SNARE family. These proteins are found on cell membranes and serve as the targets for V-SNARES permitting specific synaptic vesicle docking and fusion. A microdeletion in the region of chromosome 20 where STX16 is located has been linked to pseudohypoparathyroidism type Ib.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8675; HGNC ID: HGNC:11431; UniProt: O14662; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001001433.3; Chromosome location: 20q13.32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
