Human STUB1 qPCR Primer Set – STIP1 homology and U-box containing protein 1
Also known as: CHIP, HSPABP2, NY-CO-7, SCA48, SCAR16, SDCCAG7, UBOX1
About this gene: STUB1 encodes a protein containing tetratricopeptide repeat and a U-box that acts as a ubiquitin ligase/cochaperone. The STUB1 protein binds to and ubiquitinates shock cognate 71 kDa protein and DNA polymerase beta, among other targets. Mutations in STUB1 cause spinocerebellar ataxia, autosomal recessive 16.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10273; HGNC ID: HGNC:11427; UniProt: Q9UNE7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005861.4; Chromosome location: 16p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
