SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human STK4 (serine/threonine kinase 4) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human STK4 qPCR Primer Set – serine/threonine kinase 4
Also known as: KRS2, MST1, YSK3
About this gene: The STK4 protein is a cytoplasmic kinase that is structurally similar to the yeast Ste20p kinase, which acts upstream of the stress-induced mitogen-activated protein kinase cascade. The STK4 protein can phosphorylate myelin basic protein and undergoes autophosphorylation. A caspase-cleaved fragment of the STK4 protein is reported to be capable of phosphorylating histone H2B. The particular phosphorylation catalyzed by this protein has been correlated with apoptosis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6789; HGNC ID: HGNC:11408; UniProt: Q13043; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006282.5; Chromosome location: 20q13.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
