Human STIP1 qPCR Primer Set – stress induced phosphoprotein 1

Also known as: HEL-S-94n, HOP, IEF-SSP-3521, P60, STI1, STI1L

About this gene: STIP1 is an adaptor protein that coordinates the functions of HSP70 and HSP90 in protein folding. The STIP1 gene product is believed to assist in the transfer of proteins from HSP70 to HSP90 by binding both HSP90 and substrate-bound HSP70. STIP1 also stimulates the ATPase activity of HSP70 and inhibits the ATPase activity of HSP90, suggesting that it regulates both the conformations and ATPase cycles of these chaperones.[supplied by OMIM, Jul 2009].

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10963; HGNC ID: HGNC:11387; UniProt: P31948; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006819.3; Chromosome location: 11q13.1

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
