SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ST6GALNAC2 (ST6 N-acetylgalactosaminide alpha-2,6-sialyltransferase 2, also called SThM) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ST6GALNAC2 qPCR Primer Set – ST6 N-acetylgalactosaminide alpha-2,6-sialyltransferase 2
Also known as: SAITL1, SIAT7, SIAT7B, SIATL1, ST6GalNAII, STHM
About this gene: ST6GALNAC2 belongs to a family of sialyltransferases that add sialic acids to the nonreducing ends of glycoconjugates. At the cell surface, these modifications have roles in cell-cell and cell-substrate interactions, bacterial adhesion, and protein targeting.[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008].
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10610; HGNC ID: HGNC:10867; UniProt: Q9UJ37; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006456.3; Chromosome location: 17q25.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
