About this gene: The STEAP4 protein belongs to the STEAP family, and resides in the golgi apparatus. The STEAP4 gene product acts as a metalloreductase that has the ability to reduce both Fe to Fe and Cu to Cu, using NAD as acceptor. Studies in mice and human suggest that STEAP4 maybe involved in adipocyte development and metabolism, and may contribute to the normal biology of the prostate cell, as well as prostate cancer progression.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
