SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ELP2 (elongator acetyltransferase complex subunit 2, also called StIP1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ELP2 qPCR Primer Set – elongator acetyltransferase complex subunit 2
Also known as: MRT58, SHINC-2, STATIP1, StIP
About this gene: The ELP2 protein is a core subunit of the elongator complex, a histone acetyltransferase complex that associates with RNA polymerase II. In addition to histone acetylation, the ELP2 protein effects transcriptional elongation and may help remodel chromatin.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 55250; HGNC ID: HGNC:18248; UniProt: Q6IA86; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_018255.4; Chromosome location: 18q12.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
