SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human STAT6 (signal transducer and activator of transcription 6) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human STAT6 qPCR Primer Set – signal transducer and activator of transcription 6
Also known as: D12S1644, HIES6, IL-4-STAT, STAT6B, STAT6C
About this gene: The STAT6 protein belongs to the STAT family of transcription factors. In response to cytokines and growth factors, STAT family members are phosphorylated by the receptor associated kinases, and then form homo- or heterodimers that translocate to the cell nucleus where they act as transcription activators. The STAT6 protein plays a central role in exerting IL4 mediated biological responses.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6778; HGNC ID: HGNC:11368; UniProt: P42226; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003153.5; Chromosome location: 12q13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
