SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human STAT2 (signal transducer and activator of transcription 2, also called p113) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human STAT2 qPCR Primer Set – signal transducer and activator of transcription 2
Also known as: IMD44, ISGF-3, P113, PTORCH3, STAT113
About this gene: The STAT2 protein belongs to the STAT protein family. In response to cytokines and growth factors, STAT family members are phosphorylated by the receptor associated kinases, and then form homo- or heterodimers that translocate to the cell nucleus where they act as transcription activators. In response to interferon, this protein forms a complex with STAT1 and IFN regulatory factor family protein p48, in which this protein acts as a transactivator, but lacks the ability to bind DNA directly.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6773; HGNC ID: HGNC:11363; UniProt: P52630; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005419.4; Chromosome location: 12q13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
