Human STAT1 qPCR Primer Set – signal transducer and activator of transcription 1

Also known as: CANDF7, IMD31A, IMD31B, IMD31C, ISGF-3, STAT91

About this gene: The STAT1 protein belongs to the STAT protein family. In response to cytokines and growth factors, STAT family members are phosphorylated by the receptor associated kinases, and then form homo- or heterodimers that translocate to the cell nucleus where they act as transcription activators. The STAT1 protein can be activated by various ligands including interferon-alpha, interferon-gamma, EGF, PDGF and IL6.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6772; HGNC ID: HGNC:11362; UniProt: P42224; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_007315.4; Chromosome location: 2q32.2

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
