SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SSTR3 (somatostatin receptor 3, also called SS3R) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SSTR3 qPCR Primer Set – somatostatin receptor 3
Also known as: SS-3-R, SS3-R, SS3R, SSR-28, SST3
About this gene: SSTR3 belongs to the somatostatin receptor protein family. Somatostatins are peptide hormones that regulate diverse cellular functions such as neurotransmission, cell proliferation, and endocrine signaling as well as inhibiting the release of many hormones and other secretory proteins. Somatostatin has two active forms of 14 and 28 amino acids.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6753; HGNC ID: HGNC:11332; UniProt: P32745; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001051.5; Chromosome location: 22q13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
