SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SSTR2 (somatostatin receptor 2, also called SST2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SSTR2 qPCR Primer Set – somatostatin receptor 2
Also known as: SST2
About this gene: Somatostatin acts at many sites to inhibit the release of many hormones and other secretory proteins. The biologic effects of somatostatin are probably mediated by a family of G protein-coupled receptors that are expressed in a tissue-specific manner.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6752; HGNC ID: HGNC:11331; UniProt: P30874; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001050.3; Chromosome location: 17q25.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
