Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SSR1 (signal sequence receptor subunit 1, also called SSR-alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.

Human SSR1 qPCR Primer Set – signal sequence receptor subunit 1

Also known as: TRAPA

About this gene: The signal sequence receptor is a glycosylated endoplasmic reticulum membrane receptor linked to protein translocation across the ER membrane. The SSR consists of 2 subunits, a 34-kD glycoprotein encoded by SSR1 and a 22-kD glycoprotein. SSR1 generates multiple mRNA species as a result of complex alternative polyadenylation.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6745; HGNC ID: HGNC:11323; UniProt: P43307; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003144.5; Chromosome location: 6p24.3

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
