SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SSB (small RNA binding exonuclease protection factor La, also called SS-B) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SSB qPCR Primer Set – small RNA binding exonuclease protection factor La
Also known as: LARP3, La, La/SSB, SSB/La
About this gene: The SSB protein is involved in diverse aspects of RNA metabolism, including binding and protecting poly termini of nascent RNA polymerase III transcripts from exonuclease digestion, processing 5' and 3' ends of pre-tRNA precursors. Autoantibodies reacting with this protein are found in the sera of patients with Sjogren syndrome and systemic lupus erythematosus.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6741; HGNC ID: HGNC:11316; UniProt: P05455; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003142.5; Chromosome location: 2q31.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
