SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SREBF2 (sterol regulatory element binding transcription factor 2, also called bHLHd2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SREBF2 qPCR Primer Set – sterol regulatory element binding transcription factor 2
Also known as: SREBP-2, SREBP2, bHLHd2
About this gene: SREBF2 belongs to the a ubiquitously expressed transcription factor that controls cholesterol homeostasis by regulating transcription of sterol-regulated genes. The SREBF2 protein contains a basic helix-loop-helix-leucine zipper domain and binds the sterol regulatory element 1 motif.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6721; HGNC ID: HGNC:11290; UniProt: Q12772; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004599.4; Chromosome location: 22q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
