SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SREBF1 (sterol regulatory element binding transcription factor 1, also called bHLHd1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SREBF1 qPCR Primer Set – sterol regulatory element binding transcription factor 1
Also known as: HMD, IFAP2, SREBP1, bHLHd1
About this gene: SREBF1 encodes a basic helix-loop-helix-leucine zipper transcription factor that binds to the sterol regulatory element-1. The SREBF1 protein is synthesized as a precursor that is initially attached to the nuclear membrane and endoplasmic reticulum. Following cleavage, the mature protein translocates to the nucleus and activates transcription.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6720; HGNC ID: HGNC:11289; UniProt: P36956; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004176.5; Chromosome location: 17p11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
