SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SPN (sialophorin, also called GALGP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SPN qPCR Primer Set – sialophorin
Also known as: CD43, GALGP, GPL115, LEU-22, LSN
About this gene: SPN encodes a highly sialylated glycoprotein that functions in antigen-specific activation of T cells, and is found on the surface of thymocytes, T lymphocytes, monocytes, granulocytes, and some B lymphocytes. The SPN gene product contains a mucin-like extracellular domain, a transmembrane region and a carboxy-terminal intracellular region. The extracellular domain has a high proportion of serine and threonine residues, allowing extensive O-glycosylation, and has one potential N-glycosylation site, while the carboxy-terminal region has potential phosphorylation sites that may mediate transduction of activation signals.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6693; HGNC ID: HGNC:11249; UniProt: P16150; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003123.6; Chromosome location: 16p11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
