SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SPINT2 (serine peptidase inhibitor, Kunitz type 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SPINT2 qPCR Primer Set – serine peptidase inhibitor, Kunitz type 2
Also known as: DIAR3, HAI-2, HAI2, Kop, PB
About this gene: SPINT2 encodes a transmembrane protein with two extracellular Kunitz domains that inhibits a variety of serine proteases. The protein inhibits HGF activator which prevents the formation of active hepatocyte growth factor. SPINT2 is a putative tumor suppressor, and mutations in SPINT2 result in congenital sodium diarrhea.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10653; HGNC ID: HGNC:11247; UniProt: O43291; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_021102.4; Chromosome location: 19q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
