SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human EPPIN (epididymal peptidase inhibitor, also called CT71) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human EPPIN qPCR Primer Set – epididymal peptidase inhibitor
Also known as: CT71, CT72, SPINLW1, WAP7, WFDC7, dJ461P17.2
About this gene: EPPIN encodes a epididymal protease inhibitor, which contains both kunitz-type and WAP-type four-disulfide core protease inhibitor consensus sequences. Most WFDC genes are localized to chromosome 20q12-q13 in two clusters: centromeric and telomeric. EPPIN belongs to the WFDC gene family and belongs to the telomeric cluster.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 57119; HGNC ID: HGNC:15932; UniProt: O95925; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_020398.4; Chromosome location: 20q13.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
