SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SPINK1 (serine peptidase inhibitor Kazal type 1, also called TATI) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SPINK1 qPCR Primer Set – serine peptidase inhibitor Kazal type 1
Also known as: PCTT, PSTI, Spink3, TATI, TCP
About this gene: The SPINK1 protein is a trypsin inhibitor, which is secreted from pancreatic acinar cells into pancreatic juice. The SPINK1 gene product is believed to function in the prevention of trypsin-catalyzed premature activation of zymogens within the pancreas and the pancreatic duct. Mutations in SPINK1 are linked to hereditary pancreatitis and tropical calcific pancreatitis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6690; HGNC ID: HGNC:11244; UniProt: P00995; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001379610.1; Chromosome location: 5q32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
